We offer two fully furnished rental packages for short and medium-term stays, and a stripped-back essentials package for those staying a year or more. All packages are delivered and set up in your home in one day — just tell us your move-in date and we'll take care of the rest.

Basic Package
Elevated Package
A step up in comfort and style.
Built on everything in the Basic package, the Elevated option adds a more refined selection of furniture and carefully chosen extras that bring personality and comfort to your space. Ideal for longer postings or those who simply want their home to feel even more like home.

The essentials, at a price that makes sense for longer stays.
If you're settling in Maputo for a year or more, our Long-Term package gives you the core furniture you need — including beds, dining table, chairs and sofa — at a significantly lower monthly rate. Simple, reliable and great value.

Settling-In Services
Imagine stepping off the plane and walking straight into a fully furnished, freshly cleaned home — your internet already connected, your utilities set up, a car waiting. No queues, no calls to make, no figuring it out. Just home.
Through our own expertise and our network of vetted local providers, we can provide you with and advise you on a range of settling-in services to get you up and running from day one:
Car Rental and Airport pick-up

Internet installation
Support with utilities
Mosquito nets
Deep cleaning
And more. These services are available exclusively to GECO rental clients — just ask us when you book, or at any point during your rental.

Following a personalized consultation, select a furniture package and additional amenities to meet your specific needs.
Schedule your delivery. We will take care of all transport and assembly in one day, so you can unpack your suitcases in a fully furnished space that feels like home.
When it is time to return your furniture, we make it easy. Our team will handle all disassembly and pickup, so you don’t have to lift a finger.

GECO Home was founded by people who know Maputo's international community from the inside. Our team has spent years working alongside embassies, UN agencies, NGOs and multinationals in Mozambique — which means we understand exactly what arriving expats need, and what makes the difference between a stressful first week and a smooth one.
